BULLDOG INFORMATION
- English and French Bulldogs are quite a low-maintenance breed regarding exercise and only need around 30 minutes a day. It’s advisable that walks are split walks into two 15-minute sessions to help prevent overexertion.
- Unlike some dogs, both English and French Bulldogs are not natural swimmers so it is best keep them away from any water.
- In the United Kingdom, the breed standards are 55 lb (25 kg) for a male and 50 lb (23 kg) for a female
- Although English Band French Bulldog’s appearance can be somewhat intimidating, they are among the gentlest of dogs but just the same, they will see off any intruder.
- These Bulldogs are good for apartment life. They are very inactive indoors and will do okay without a yard. This breed is an indoor dog. Bulldogs do best in temperate climates as the breed can chill easily in cold weather and have trouble cooling off in very hot weather.
